M. Douglas Godown, RFC, RHU/REBC, ChHC - President/CEO

Douglas is the co-founder and president of Marion Douglas Financial and Insurance Services, a role he has held for the last 30 years.

Doug’s career has spanned over three decades, with a specialty in employee benefits planning, including medical, dental, life, disability, and long-term care insurance, as well as 401k, pension, and profit-sharing plans.

His extensive experience in the benefits industry allows him to successfully negotiate with insurance carriers on behalf of his clients. Doug works to provide excellent employee benefit plans at highly competitive rates and seeks to consistently exceed client expectations.

Gary Nouskajian, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF - Operations Manager

Gary has over 25 years of experience in financial services, having held a variety of roles including agent, compliance officer, training director, an operations manager with renowned companies such as New York Life, MassMutual, and MetLife. Gary has been with Marion Douglas as its operations manager and 401(k) administrative assistant since May 2018.

On a personal note, Gary and his spouse, Kitty, have four children and nine grandchildren. Gary is a graduate of Long Beach State University. He is a musician and currently plays bass and keyboards in a band featuring music from the British Invasion. You can usually hear the Big Boy Band perform each Labor Day weekend at the Orange International Street Fair in Orange.

Jennifer Godown, CFO, RPT

As co-founder of Marion Douglas Financial and Insurance Services, Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in the benefits insurance industry. She is a graduate from CSULB with a bachelor of science in physical therapy and has practiced for 25 years.

Jennifer has been married to her partner and co-founder Doug Godown for 39 years and has three sons and five grandchildren. She resides in Anaheim, CA.

Lennea Billingsley-Crawley

Lennea Billingsley-Crawley is the Director of Sales at Marion Douglas Financial and Insurance Services.

Lennea has been in the insurance industry for 20 years and has experience in Medicare as well as in the group and individual insurance markets. Her dedication and industry expertise helps our clients make informed, proper decisions when reviewing their healthcare options. Lennea has worked with major insurance carriers and general agencies, providing a wealth of information and experience to the team.

Sylvia Rios - Account Manager

Sylvia Rios is a whiz with numbers. She worked in accounting and business management for over two decades before beginning her insurance career in 2020. Today, she uses her number-crunching skills to help protect companies' financial security with insurance.

Sylvia lives with her husband and two cocker spaniels, and she is passionate about staying fit by practicing yoga, spin and tennis.

Michael Marion - Managing Partner

Michael is the founder and president of Marion Consulting, LLC which is currently celebrating 40 years of service. He has limited his practice to focusing on family wealth transfer, philanthropic planning, business succession, and the executive benefit needs of high net worth families and successful closely-held businesses.

Mike Marion - Associate Partner

Mike has 13 years of experience guiding families through complex challenges, both as a financial planner and as a former senior living executive. He specializes in strategic thinking, creative problem solving, and executive leadership.

As a financial planner, Mike works with families, individuals, and closely-held businesses to guide them through the planning process. This involves retirement income planning, family wealth transfer, estate planning, business succession, life insurance planning, executive benefits, and various other aspects of their financial lives.

Mike has his Master’s degree from the Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University and his Bachelor’s degree from Biola University. Mike has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designations.

Debra Ojasild - Trust Accounting Manager

Debra Ojasild is the trust accounting manager at Marion Consulting. She has been with the firm for over 20 years.

Debra’s responsibilities include management of client service and operations as well as compliance administration. She spearheads the trust administration team, which provides detailed record-keeping and reporting services to the client’s estate planning attorney, CPA, and IRS regarding the client’s allocation of gift tax and generation-skipping tax exemptions. In addition, Debra provides support services to clients’ families and their advisors for trust and estate administration services.

Debra lives in Ladera Ranch with her sons, Max and Jack.
